Imp-Act Consortium

Capacity building

The Consortium has developed technical and human resources to build the capacity of organisations to deliver social value to microfinance clients.

We work with MFIs, networks, donors, investors, and support organisations around the world –tailoring our approach to meet the needs and capacities of each organisation. Our strong learning agenda means that our approach constantly evolves as our knowledge of SPM practice improves. This approach includes:

Training

We have developed a range of hands-on training options for different types of institutions, from MFIs to those organisations that support them.

Auditing

We conduct external social performance audits, or train your organisation to conduct periodic internal audits to check in with your progress in achieving balanced performance management.

Mentoring and technical support

Balancing MFI performance management is not a one-off effort - it requires a long-term process of adaptation and change. We provide one-on-one mentoring to see MFIs successfully through that process.

Strategy development

We work with organisations that support MFIs to define their strategy to deliver SPM support to their partners in an appropriate and sustainable way.
